TCA has announced that this year's recipient of the Charlie Devlin Award for Excellence will be Representative Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), for his outstanding contribution to the SUD field.
The Charlie Devlin Award for Excellence is given to a deserving legislator who has exemplified what it means to serve. This award is named after a former TCA President Charlie Devlin, who had more than 50 years in recovery and worked tirelessly on behalf of the millions of individuals and family members whose lives had been impacted by addiction to alcohol and other drugs.
