CDC Updates Latest Provisional Drug Overdose Death Counts

Recent provisional drug overdose death data from the CDC reported 108,022 predicted overdose deaths in the 12-month period ending in May 2022. In 2021, the U.S. saw over 100,000 overdose deaths for the first time in a twelve-month period.
