HHS recently released its Health Workforce Strategic Plan, which prioritizes: recruiting and training health professionals from underserved communities; ensuring equitable distribution of the workforce across geographic areas and health professions; enabling the workforce to deliver high-quality care, including through enhancing cultural and linguistic competency of health professionals; and utilizing data to make better-informed decisions regarding health workforce education and training investments.
