TCA Honors ATR Caucus Co-chair Rep. Tim Ryan with Charlie Devlin Award for Excellence

Treatment Communities of America (TCA) recently held a reception to honor U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio with the Charlie Devlin Award for Excellence. TCA honored Rep. Ryan for his exemplary contributions in advancing recovery as Co-Chair of the Addiction Treatment and Recovery (ATR) Caucus.

Dr. Miriam Delphin-Rittmon, Assistant Secretary for Mental Health and Substance Use, kindly addressed TCA members as keynote speaker for the event. Dr. Delphin-Rittmon detailed the Biden Administration's plan for combatting America's worsening overdose crisis, in improving behavioral health infrastructure and increasing funding for key programs and support services.

Although Rep. Ryan was unable to attend the event in person, a plaque was presented by way of video presentation which was shared with his office, as well as the award personally delivered.
