Youth Suicide Prevention Legislation Heading to President's Desk

Congress recently passed legislation to ensure thousands of students nationwide receive suicide prevention training and expand access to evidence-based suicide prevention training for students in grades 6 through 12 nationwide. As suicide is now the second-leading cause of death for youth between 10 and 24, The Suicide Training and Awareness Nationally Delivered for Universal Prevention (STANDUP) Act of 2021 could not come at a better time.
