The FDA recently released the results of their multi-year opioid product quality survey aimed to detect substitutions of illicit fentanyl in the supply chain of FDA-regulated opioids. The FDA reported no evidence of illegal substitution in any FDA-regulated opioids, ingredients used to make opioids, opioid overdose reversal products, and opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment products tested.
