HHS Proposes New Rule to Expand Access to Methadone and Buprenorphine, Suggests Terminology Change

HHS (12/13) –– Recently released is a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) regarding take home methadone and the use of telehealth to access buprenorphine prescriptions, in addition to changes in terminology, including using MOUD rather than Medication Assisted Treatment.
