Recently, Dr. Yngvild K. Olsen was announced as the new Director of the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) at SAMHSA. CSAT provides national leadership to improve access, reduce barriers, and promote high-quality, life-saving, and effective treatment and recovery support services. Dr. Olsen, who was previously serving as CSAT’s Acting Director, will lead CSAT’s efforts to promote community-based substance use disorder treatment, and recovery support services for individuals and families.
