TCA to Hold Training Event in Collaboration with WFTC

Treatment Communities of America (TCA) and the World Federation of Therapeutic Communities (WFTC) will hold a training event, The Changing Aspects of the TC Model, on July 28, 2021 from 1-4pm ET. The goal of the training is to highlight the ever-changing aspects of the Therapeutic Community (TC) model of treatment. This training will feature 2 key note speakers, Dr. George DeLeon and Naya Arbiter, who will discuss the essential elements of the TC Model. The training will also highlight TCA member programs from across the United States in a panel discussion that focuses on the special populations that they serve within their respective communities. Our intent is to show what is special about the TC model as well as provide information and a productive forum for dialogue and learning amongst our attendees. It is our hope that this training will enhance the global TC Movement and widen recognition and acceptance of the TC and the TC approach among behavioral health organizations and health delivery systems throughout the world.
